At almost 15 years old, Estrella Kirk is inspiring people with her new song birthed out of the pain of the coronavirus pandemic impacting the globe.
Estrella teamed up with celebrity vocal coach and Kingdom Sound founder Kira Fontana (“Glee,” “The Voice”) to pen a song about leaning on God in the storm. It was only fitting that she filmed the video in the middle of a storm in southern California during the COVID-19 shelter in place quarantine.
In an interview with The Christian Beat, Kirk revealed her heart for the song which was inspired by Psalm 91.
“I feel like God will give direction and strength to anyone if they ask Him… and I feel like we all need that reassurance, especially right now,” she said.
