Cory Asbury is releasing one of the most honest and vulnerable songs he’s written to date.
If you don’t recognize Cory’s name, maybe you’re familiar with his songs. The Bethel Music singer-songwriter and guitarist’s “Reckless Love” became Billboard’s biggest Christian song in 2018.
Now, Cory is releasing a vulnerable song called “Dear God” in a stripped down acoustic recording that will not officially be released until July.
“I wrote this song with my friend, Aodhan King (Hillsong Y&F / Hillsong Worship). It’s one of the most honest and vulnerable songs I’ve written to date. It’s laid out as a raw prayer to God,” Cory explains on YouTube. “This recording is the unmixed, untouched, raw voice memo audio from the first time I sang it. Full song coming with the new album July 31st…”
