What began in the streets of New York City in the ‘70s is still alive and well thanks to performers like the Rock Dance Crew.
From break dancing to elevating Latin, hip hop, popping, and waacking, this dance crew based out of Queens, New York isn’t only putting on a show. They’re teaching us new ways to move.
The official dance crew of The Rock Churches Worldwide takes their performances to the streets with the best of New York City performers in the famed tourist attraction, Times Square.
Here’s the crew preparing for their latest performance:
After checking these dancers out on social media, here are a few of our favorite moments from the Rock Dance Crew:
- When They Gave Us A Whole Routine To “Coming In Hot”
We don’t care how many times you’ve heard it, Andy Mineo and Lecrae’s “Coming In Hot” is staying on the turn-up playlist. Next time we hear it out in these streets, we’re trying this simple routine!
- This Latin Performance Was Muy Caliente
Even if you’re not in the New York City area, this fun performance gives you the opportunity to see what this crew can do when they come together.
- That Time They Created And Killed A New Dance Challenge
Between TikTok and Instagram, it doesn’t look like dance challenges are going anywhere anytime soon. The Rock Dance Crew is giving us a fun one that has us dancing, praising, and just having a good time!
